Paeonia 'Aurelia'

Paeonia 'Aurelia'
The clump of Paeonia 'Aurelia' featured as emerging red shoots on 13 March is now at peak flowering, and looking stunning in warm sunshine, with over 50 flowers open at once. 'Aurelia' should really be treated as a Cultivar Group, as it is seed-raised and there is some variability between plants. It originated in Ray Cobb's garden in Nottingham, and this plant (as a small seedling) was a gift from Ray several years ago.
