Autumn posy


A posy I made for a friend's birthday recently. Any guesses at the 20 different flowers visible?
20 October: for those who want to know, in approximately clockwise sequence from the bottom, the plants are: Scabiosa 'Blue Butterflies'; Nigella papillosa ‘Midnight’; Cyclamen hederifolium; Symphyotrichum novae-angliae  'Helen Picton'; Hosta yingeri; Symphyotrichum novae-angliae  'Primrose Upward' Symphyotrichum novi-belgii  'Beechwood Charm'; Diascia rigescens; Plectranthus argentatus; Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Orangefields' (pale), 'JS Caliente'; Lathyrus 'Matucana'; Dahlia 'Dark Desire'; Symphyotrichum 'Little Carlow'; Aconitum 'Spatlese'; Pennisetum setaceum; Allium hookeri; Symphyotrichum 'Ochtendgloren'; Symphyotrichum novae-angliae  ‘Rosa Sieger’; Colchicum 'Glory of Threave'; Fuchsia 'Ian Storey'

  3. Colchicum, Aconitum, Fuschia, Nigella, Scabiosa, Aster, Bergenia, Sweet Pea, Dahlia, Chrysanthemum, Salvia, Pennisetum (alopecuroides?), Allium, some variety of Persicaria in the back, Nerine next to Nigella? So, 15 I can spot? Not going to try for varieties or species. Nope.

  4. Agastache, Persicaria, Salvia, Aconitum, Pennisetum, Diascia, Lathyrus, Chrysanthemum, Aster probably including 'Purple Dome' and 'La Moutiere', Dianthus, Dahlia, Allium, Nerine, Nigella, Colchicum, Scabiosa, Fuchsia does that up the ante?
