Frosty but kindly

  1. I would normally say that there is nothing kindly about the frost - it usually means the onset of several months of winter to me.

    But last nights frost caught me out. I have two house plants that the dreaded Red spider mite refuse to let go of (Impatiens morseae and Sutherlandia frutescens) so they've been outdoors. The recent cool nights (and rain) seem to have taken its toll on the RSM, and maybe this light frost will be the final nail in the coffin.

    So maybe frost isn't all bad!

  3. These are very nice macros. I especially like the Dianthus and the Anenome; on the latter you notice the leaf veining. Striking
