A hint of Spring

Crocus atticus (sieberi) 'Bowles' White'
It has been a beautiful sunny and mild day, with the early flowers actually getting the chance to open and a diversity of insects on the wing. Too soon, perhaps, but very enjoyable.

Eranthis hyemalis 'Zitronenfalter'

Cyclamen coum 'Album'

Primula vulgaris subsp. sibthorpii

Galanthus plicatus 'Colossus'

  1. John,
Looks your ahead of us. Just found our first crocus bloom yesterday. My cyclamen is leafed out but the flowers are long gone. No sign of snow drops yet. Enjoyed the photos..

  2. Dear John, beautiful hints of spring. Can hardly wait for spring to arrive on my doorstep. There ARE signs of spring in my garden, green tips here and there, but no other colours yet. This mild weather fortunately makes the winter feel a lot shorter, than usual
    Best regards, Fie..
