Images of afroalpines on Mt Kenya
I recently made the acquaintance of the photographer Charlie Hopkinson, who takes beautiful photographs, mostly monochrome, with a minimum of fuss. He has just been to Mt Kenya and has taken some lovely atmospheric pictures of the giant afroalpine plants Dendrosenecio keniodendron and Lobelia telekii. You can see them on his blog here - and it's worth looking at his other posts too. On his website http://www.charliehopkinson.com/ are some of his portraits of eminent gardeners, and some rather nice images of people stopped in the street after buying flowers.
