Snowdrop Mania: a BBC Radio 4 programme on snowdrops

A nice selection of Galanthus nivalis
A BBC Radio 4 programme produced and first broadcast last year, entitled 'Snowdrop Mania', with well-known enthusiasts speaking to the presenter at the Galanthus Gala last year, was re-broadcast yesterday. It can be heard on http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00r33y5/Snowdrop_Mania - hopefully all over the world.

  3. Thank you for posting the link to the fascinating Snowdrop Gala. Terrible about the thefts: I have had a large clump of yellow lady's slippers stolen when my garden was open. Are you familiar with Galanthus 'Beth Chatto'? I can't seem to find any mention of it on the internet. Is it available in the UK? How much does it sell for? Thanks for your help. Carolyn

  5. "A nice selection of Galanthus nivalis" - now that's the understatement of the day. Lovely.
