Blogger in the trees

Fellow blogger Ben 'Life in the trees' Jones came to Colesbourne this afternoon, having kindly volunteered to tidy up a pair of Atlas Cedars in the grounds of Colesbourne Park. It is always  pleasure to watch his methodical approach to getting up into a tree's canopy and the efficiency with which he handles his equipment - a truly professional tree surgeon. The cedars were transformed from their snaggy, dishevelled-looking state to a pair of cleanly columnar trunks:  Ben says there is no other tree that is so rewarding to tidy up.
