I wouldn't begin to attempt to John. The posting does, however, highlight why gardens and visits are so popular, particularly with the pictures of Susan's and your plant. The juxtaposition of the plant with others that you had not thought of yourself delights and can lead to design changes in ones own little plot.
I wonder what a psychologist would make of the differences in the pictures John!
