A nocturnal visitor
The mild weather has meant that I have my study window open this evening and through it I heard a rustling in dry leaves outside. As expected, it was a nice hedgehog, the first I've seen in the garden this year and a very welcome visitor.
Fantastic, they are such wonderful animals, eating all the slugs for us. I think mine is a rather incontinent Hedgehog, droppings everywhere each morning!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful resident to have. For me, having creatures like this in the garden makes being a gardener even more valuable.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen hedgehogs round here - such a pity
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little face! Wildlife adds another dimension to gardening. I surely wish we had these endearing creatures,in North Carolina!
