I recently made the acquaintance of the photographer Charlie Hopkinson, who takes beautiful photographs, mostly monochrome, with a minimum of fuss. He has just been to Mt Kenya and has taken some lovely atmospheric pictures of the giant afroalpine plants
Dendrosenecio keniodendron and
